Centennial High School students were awarded Minnesota Bilingual Seals and World Language Proficiency Certificates showing required language competency in speaking, writing, listening, and reading in languages other than English. This distinction is an indication of accomplishment, earns college credit, and is a selling point for future employers and college admission.
- 109 students participated and earned: 13 Platinum Seals (4 semesters of MN college credit); 22 Gold Seals (3 semesters of MN college credit); 73 World Language Proficiency Seals (earning 2 semesters of MN college credit).
- 7 languages: Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi, Oromo, Russian, Ukrainian.
- 2 students took exams for multiple languages.
